The governing body of the city hereby declares it to be the public policy of the city to eliminate discrimination and safeguard the right of any person to sell, purchase, lease, rent, finance or obtain funding of real property without regard to race, color, sex, religion, national origin or ancestry and hereby adopts all state and federal laws pertaining to fair housing within the city limits of Augusta, KS.
