(a)   Zoning Regulations are hereby approved and adopted by the Governing Body of the City of Augusta, Kansas, as prepared and published in book form by the City of Augusta Planning Commission with technical assistance from Professional Engineering Consultants, P.A., under the date of October 19, 2020 and entitled “City of Augusta, Kansas Zoning Regulations” and the same are hereby incorporated by reference as fully as if set out herein and as subsequently amended. Not less than three (3) copies of the City of Augusta Zoning Regulations, in book form, shall be filed with the City Clerk to be open for inspection and available to the public at all reasonable business hours. The City of Augusta Zoning Regulations herein adopted by reference shall govern the use of land within the corporate limits of the City of Augusta, as may be amended by annexation of new territory into the City, and within the defined Planning Area extending beyond the corporate limits of the City.

(b)   There is further herein incorporated by reference and adopted an Official Map delineating the boundaries of zoning districts and the classification of such districts, which map is marked “Official Copy of the City of Augusta, Kansas Zoning Map 2020” and filed with the City Clerk to be open for inspection and available to the public at all reasonable business hours, as subsequently amended from time to time.

(c)   Said zoning regulations have been subsequently amended by the ordinances enumerated in the history of this code section.
